Thanks for the comment Rod, yes as a matter of fact it was a MAAC sanctioned event. The field is a MAAC field that shares with local sports fields, bad enough you can't fly nitro or gas there. The flying circuit is well away from other fields and the pilots have serious instruction on how to behave in the air at that field. Hood-up Flyers is an electric only club in Burnaby BC.
