FAST RC Brushless GWS A10

Tiger Striped GWS A10 Warthog maiden flight with GWS 0005a Brushless motors, 35ammp ESC's, HXT 4s1p 2200 mah Lipo. This plane comes extremely under powered from the factory. I am finally pleased with it's performance.

Awesome. THey are …
Awesome. THey are one of the harder models to set up to take any sort of speed and high G's. Yours seems to do all that quite well :)

nice !

rather hear the …
rather hear the motor .. but loose some weight on the plane = faster lower the stall speed etc. on the upside .. i guess it would fly better in heavy winds.

I run a similar …
I run a similar setup, Im building a new one now: I like to fly with the CG waaaay back for some throttle flying. It stalls so smooth if you are not careful and misjudge the speed it falls flat out of the sky =-P.

What did you reenforce the engine pylons with? Bamboo doesnt seem to cut it even on a glassed version

My me 262 is ready for paint…. running 4 cells on it too! I can't wait! You are right on about the stock power systems… this is my third power setup… I think this one works! first ws stock on the edf 50 plane, then fiegaos, now for something that actually moves! Let me know how that 4600 setup works… I love the edf's

ws691ta @ 12:00 am

NICE!! i just …
NICE!! i just installed a set of GWS bruslhess 4600kv motors in my A-10 with an 11.1v 2200mah battery and two 25amp ESC's,but i haven't had a chance to try it out.mine could barely get out of it's own way on the brushed 370's,and the GWS motors are still way cheaper than Himax's or Fiegao's.Nice job flying by the way. When are you gonna shoe horn a set of EDF-64's off the 262 on that thing?

BluerawEnergy @ 12:00 am

That music cracks me up. Awesome landing.

roballoba @ 12:00 am

you still haven't …
you still haven't fixed your stryker huh? still flying SLOW sticks?

DarkWombat77 @ 12:00 am

Pssh you think that …
Pssh you think that the enemy won't see you with a fantastic tiger stripe paint scheme like that? Does it have self-sealing fuel tanks in case they get punctured by enemy AA fire? Can it fly with 2/3 of of a wing like the real thing? I bet there is no redundancy in case one of the servo systems gets fried….
Oh and it flies too fast for scale speed. But other than that it's pretty cool.

nortap1 @ 12:00 am

Where did you learn …
Where did you learn to fly like that? Why can't you keep that plane upright? The place looks very familiar, hope you don't hit any houses with that fast plane of yours. How about in between them palm trees.
