how long does it take for a electric rc car to charge?

i wanna know if im charging my car long enough

No way of telling without knowing what size battery pack you are using.
In general a 9.6V pack usually takes 4 hours with the Tyco quick charger or similar charger.

7.2V packs usually take about 6-8 hours to charge.

6V Nikko packs usually take 4-6 hours.

12V packs generally take 12 hours.

Find out exactly what make/model you have and look on the manufacturers website or you can email them.

You are ok if you leave them charging for over 4 hours at the least. 12 hours at the most. You will be fine. Just be sure when you go to charge your pack that it is cooled off and not hot nor warm.
