Thanks, im not sure what we have on our easyglider as my son set it up .small russian brushless and like you say ahigh pitch prop. you do have good performance with that set up,Ive just put a cheap 40 dollar U.S. DIGITAL camera with an s.d.anyway nice to here from you will post a video soon I hope card gives 10 mins video time ,just tape it on the top at the c of g awsome videos,turn it sideways looking down the wing .its great fun

Folding prop is what should have been used. This was my first Glider. Performance in gliders is defined by long flight time. Your post of "same performance with smaller equipment" is not comparable without details. A 1000 Kv motor requires a large prop. You sound like you want a small prop and higher speed, and as such would use a faster motor or higher pitch prop. I enjoyed this setup since it had nice slow fly, lots of thrust and control.
