large electric RC plane made from construction foam

Members of RCFORUMS.COM suggested using a heat gun to bend construction foam to make planes that resembled kit built fuel planes. This is an ongoing experiment, which seems to be working. This Spitfire inspired design flies very well and lands like a butterfly. The plane has retractable gear, but they were not used in the maiden flight because the wheels are too small for the grass field.
