Night flying with RC plane
Flying with my electric RC plane in total dark, just with moon shining. Plane is illuminated with 15 superbright LEDs, so it is even better fun than flyin in the daylight. Sorry for the quality, it is hard (or even impossible) to make some reasonable shots in such conditions

Hi,
it took quite long time to design this properly. I had to use a separate power supply (180mAh Li-ion from MP3 player). Motor power drain causes voltage drop on the main pack, so LEDs would light less if engine was on. Next issue was low voltage of this battery (3,7V) - for example white LEDs work with 33mA@3,3V, so each led was connected parallel with its own resistor. Current drain was quite terrible (for LEDs) - around 0,5A. If you are interested in some details or photos, send me PM.

How did you ook them up? Grom a seperate power supply, or did you get the power from the bat pack. I would like to do this but I do not know how to. Also if you hooked up from batt pack did you use resistors. how did you hook up the leds in series or how. Please get back to me i realy want to do this. as you can see from my videos a use leds but they stink yours are realy good. I get my power from a whatch battery. Thank you
