I was stationed at EL Toro every time I came back from overseas deployments too. I am not in Fountain Valley. I retired 33 years in USMC avionics, VMFP3 (RF4B Phantoms) and H&MS 46 (CH46 helicopters) and moved to the Midwest now. Thank your dad for serving and Semper Fi.

Thanks. I was involved with the US Marine Corps aviation field in Ch46, CH53 helis, and RF4B Phantom jets as an Mechanical/Electrical engineer/technician. I Spent time on the USS Midway with the Navy and have a video up on it. "USS Midway Tribute". IT was an exciting time.Thank your dad for serving for me. All my planes fly and I have a couple more I am working on that might be interesting too. Stay tuned.

Yea it was fun, i heard it was more fun back in the days, but you have some great history behind ya. Very interesting video by the way, i see some other plane prototypes that look interesting, did they fly? like the paper airplane one?
