RC Sapac Red Arrow-Maiden Flight With CRASH!! :(

Well the plane …
Well the plane actually survived :),Only needed minor repairs,If you looked at the other flights with the red arrow(they where all after this crash)

I had a problem with the electronics and sorted it out,The plane flies real well now,but i'm still learning on the landings,will master it once i start to fly again

Can I say R.I.P to …
Can I say R.I.P to the plane? Well, I guess it was nice flyed, but is it hard to land with rc planes like this?

CG should be at the 1/3 point from the leading edge to the trailing edge of the wings.

No,the camera …
No,the camera stayed on,I stuck a velcro pad on the battery compartment so it stayed on well,When the plane went into the branches the wing come off and was still connected to the fuse via the servo wire leaving the rest of the plane dangling.

i had that problem with my cessna(on one of my vids)kept going in circles before it took off,lol,does your air earl have a rudder? if it has you can use your rudder to keep it in a straight line

if you watch the …
if you watch the landing gear,it's always twitching,so it might of been the case of interference or just short range,

since i replaced it,my other flights went real well on my other vids:)(the ones when you can see the actual plane)

Nice vid. Sorry to see the Rx was a dodgy component leading to the crash.

I have the exact same model myself. I was wondering if my concerns about it are practically important though.

I'm surprised you got away with it, I felt that flimsy plastic nose cone was not impressive so if a bit of epoxy worked, that's positive.

I wonder if the PPM Rx suffers from interference myself. I will have to find out the hard way as I can't afford to spend anymore!

Epoxy is a glue …
Epoxy is a glue that comes in two tubes,you mix them together and in 5 mins they harden,it sets like rock and great for foamies,makes the repair stronger than the rest of the plane.

I ripped off the wing,so i used the trusty Epoxy and had to glue the landing gear back on,

Nothing major:)i got away with it quite lightly.

From what I can see looks to be tail heavy. Move battery forward 1/4 tp 1/2 inch.

yeah i sure did,but i never had any control over it:(,the receiver screwed up and had made many problems for me to be able to land the plane:((hence the tree),but if you look at my other videos of the Red Arrow you see that i have sorted out the problem and had quite a few great flights :),managed to do some real low passes
