well.. nice indeed.. but always a rough fly! i like things more softly.. i mean the tork roll was a bit unstable… the hoover ( slow flight) a bit unstable too… i dont know if it was a windy day or so! but, never the less, a good flight indeed!

THX …I'll try the 90 first (brand new , never started it since i left rc) and if my 300 flies well I,ll upgrade… I'll fly my trainer first to get back into it though lol

cool, if you want it to hover, maybe a Zenoah G23 would be a better option. Or go for an OS 2stroke 120size. I just had a look at it on the net, I think its the same one and I would definitely overpower that baby a little. I used to own a Seagull Edge540 60size and I put a 90size 2stroke in it. Still wasnt powerful enough for hovering….

This plane is around 28% scale and it has a 3W 80cc motor. Way, way overpowered! If your plane is as big as this one, the fs90 wont even get it off the ground…. If funds are limited, a DL50cc might be the way to go. I have one in a Yak54 33% and it will climb out of a hover no problem. The 3w 80cc really is complete overkill.

I have an unfinished extra300 just like that . I quit rc flying about 10 years ago and now back into it. I'll finish this extra 300 but at the time I didn't have the cash to spend for a powerfull engine so I got a os fs90 is that enough power for that kinda plane? Whats the engine you are using to hover like that?
