Grumman F6F Hellcat
This is my 1/6 scale model of the Grumman Hellcat. Maiden flight was Monday July 30, 2007. Built from a Byron Originals kit. Painted with exterior latex house paint from Dunn Edwards.

i think you should …
i think you should paint the prop tips yellow with a black stripe at the end of the yellow tip but lol i know be carefull not to unbalence the prop, but would make it more reaistic. but good job should like try to get a 3 fin prop

Thanks and you are probably right about the designation numbers. Did you like the radial engine sound bytes I had at the beginning and end?
Very nicely done …
Very nicely done video. An even better job on the model. The only noticeable thing was the two-bladed prop. FWIW, I believe that is an F6F-5, though. The -4 models had a small rear window that proved to be useless so it was deleted on the later model.
The F4F Wildcats came in -3 and -4 models with the -4 having folding wings. Impressive job overall!
