Nitro Model Airplane Crash RC Flyby No Hurt

Trying to get some Tom Cruise type flybys with an Avistar .40 remote controlled airplane. I turned it into the ground. It is unrepairable, but some parts are salvageable.

thats because it is. maintained straight and level is the first thing on the beginners list.

slickfast @ 12:00 am

Well, it is …
Well, it is actually a pretty maneuverable plane being an aerobatic trainer, i love how its aerobatic but flies like its on rails. This guy just forgot or didnt put enough elevator in, typical beginner mistake. I've flown this plane inverted through the whole pattern, including approach. It's very precise, and its fast if you put a good powerplant in it.

terrible flying

Beej336 @ 12:00 am

most full package …
most full package planes cost around 300 dollars, but those engines are sturdy as hell….so if he can salvage the engine and electronics…its only going to cost him about a hundred dollars to replace

XTIRP8 @ 12:00 am

but still have lots …
but still have lots of power, and the fuel can easily go up in flames

pointless14 @ 12:00 am

wrong glue when sticking the wings togheter, to tight turn and then they break apart!

mannwhosoldtheworld @ 12:00 am

Jet engines are a …
Jet engines are a whole otehr ball game.

I hit my friend with a .46, around the same as this plane had. (I actually had the same plane, an AVISTAR. Check my videos).

I later had a .90, and I agree, that would do some damage, but that .46 is childs play.

bjcgmw @ 12:00 am

Depending the size …
Depending the size of engine - it could take a finger off no problem

XTIRP8 @ 12:00 am

i would still …
i would still rather not be anywhere near it if its crashed. the prop must be really powerful and if you were silly enough to put your hand in it it would shread you!!!!! plus if its a jet engine it might do more damage if it hits you i would think.

mannwhosoldtheworld @ 12:00 am

Nope. The propeller …
Nope. The propeller stops pretty easy. If you were to stick your hand in there, it would stop the motor. Of course there'd be a dirty gash, but no boken bones or anything.

XTIRP8 @ 12:00 am

if its got a …
if its got a propellor it would be like a blender and you'd need more than plastic surgery!!!!

mannwhosoldtheworld @ 12:00 am

Meh. Shit happens. …
Meh. Shit happens. I'm cautious, and especially safe when flying low. My point being, the VERY worst you'd suffer would be minor recontructive surgery. Mostly likely just a concussion and some nasty cuts, maybe loss of vision.
