im building a custom rc truggy from the ground up and i cant dicide between an HPI nitro star K5.9 or an HPI nitro star K4.6 HO. there both the same price and the 5.9 dosent show specs so i was wondering wich is a faster for a truggy
The 4.6 engine is better for truggies. That's the engine HPI are using in the new Trophy Truggy.

The planes were flown by kids and they attatched darts i think? to the wings and fired them at another rc plane that was smuggling diamonds
OH!!!! that was a cool show! but for some reason I can't find it online… Its called "Remote Control"

I'got a Parkzone J3 Cub RC plane, and my friend also has a plane that works on the same frequency. I need to change my frequency so we can fly at the same time.
How do i do this?
if you can afford it buy the spektrum kit no more worries about frequencies.
try looking round this site for more info http://www.spektrumrc.com/

what do you guys think is better Electric or Nitro RC cars?
Nitro.
Love the smell and noise.

Hi, I plan to build an rc airliner out of wood (From scratch) but all I need are the blueprints and the dimensions for a jet powered boeing plane. Would anybody know of any websites that give those free? I also need to know where I could get little hydraulic cylinders to power the plane's ailerons.
Any help is appreciated!
Thank You in advance.
Have you ever flown planes before? If you haven't, I wouldnt suggest this project. If you have, I would suggest using a regular toy foam plane and converting that into an RC. Wood seems pretty darn heavy to make an RC Airliner…
Also, no, they dont give out free plans. You could buy an Airliner from E-Fliterc.com.
The one on there should be much cheaper than if you were to build one yourself.

I'm going to attempt to make a design for a model airplane, then maybe try and build it. Most airplanes have a pull propeller (the propeller at the front of the plane pulling it forwards). However I have seen models with the propeller at the end, pushing the plane forwards. Which one would work better? Why? Thanks!
In general, if control and stability at all speeds are a preference to you in this particular design then you should choose a tractor driven (or pull) configuration. The benefit of a tractor prop is that it provides constant airflow over your control surfaces while the propeller is turning. This equates to have control, lift, and stability in a vary large range of forward airspeeds.
If your design is intended for high speed jet-like performance then a pusher prop is necessary. In a pusher configuration you can achieve more streamlined airframe construction and ultimately higher airspeeds. The downfall to this setup is you'll only achieve lift, stability and control when the aircraft reaches a certain airspeed.
One setup isn't any better than the other because they are intended for two completely different applications.
Good luck with your project.

I'm just getting back into Radio Controlled vehicles as my son is getting to that age and i'm going to but a boat for scratch.
I'm an electrician so understand all the electric methods of powering it but have never dealt with nitro and don't know where to start.
I can't seem to find any basic nitro systems to look at to get an idea.
Any info on engines, wiring, fuel (is it special) and how the seal between the prop and hull are maintained would be greatfully received.
I'm sorry, i do planes and Heli's not boats or else I'd be more than happy to assist you the whole way, from planning to finalizing.
