OS Max .10 Modified, with Turbo Plug
This is the end result of everything we could think of to soup up an OS Max .10 FP. This includes the addition of a turbo plug and the use of a standard, (for this engine) 7 X 4 black Tornado prop.
The 16K top end, it must be remembered, is with a prop that's one size smaller than the prop used for the previous runs.

Try running the engine with a needle setting more rich than you have been. This may tell you if it's running too hot. Do not run it too rich, however, if you run the engine too cool for too long, you may wear it out too quickly.

I asked you that because my .15 is running well, but after 1 minute it loses power until sudden stop. I believe it´s getting too hot (no lack of fuel). Maybe more Nitro could help. What do you think ? thanks

In these tests, anywhere you see pink in the fuel tank, I used Omega 10% fuel. I did that just to minimize the influence of high nitro fuel and also because I'm aware that high nitro is not easily available in many parts of the world.

Hello

I´ve a .15.
Thanks

It has a propeller on it. This provides the load and the cooling.

Yeah U wont want to run that engine at full speed without load. Also, what method are you using to cool the motor? I cant seem to tell from the vid.
Turbo plugs are …
Turbo plugs are made for the RC car engines. They have a tapered seat at the plug bottom instead of using a copper gasket at the top of the threads. Any hobby shop that carries RC cars will do the trick.
