RC engine VA .049 MK2 dieselized
This one has radically altered timing by accident and yet it gives a good account of itself. I'm convinced it can do better. The glow (nitro) version is the ONLY current 1/2A with an idle mixture adjustment offered as stock. The dinky glow rod was replaced with a beefier, custom made rod. Prop is a Grish 8 X 4 black Tornado.
Unlike the MK1 which was AAN, this one is a true ABC engine. VERY durable, the chrome is some of the best I've seen.

The best mix I've found for small diesels, such as the .049, is 39% kerosene, 39% ether, 20% castor and 2% of Amsoil's cetane booster.
As you go larger in engine size, such as a .40, you can reduce the ether to 10 to 20
% and still get good throttling. Lots of ether, though, helps throttling.

Sounds great for a .049. Beefy and lots of torque I imagine. What fuel mix if you don`t mind saying? Thanks
