I've flying models … I've flying models for over 50yrs and RC for 35yrs. SuperTiger is my favorite engine. I've tried them all and yes there are better engines for raceing etc. but ST is the sweet spot. For sport flying you can't beat them. The carbs work excellent if you make sure you have the spraybar lined up properly in the carb throat. Lots of folks do not know this and never get the engine running properly. You can almost buy two STs for the price of one OS.
Metalica.Junkie, … Metalica.Junkie, the carb on the ST90 can't provide fine enough fuel metering to give a reliable/smooth mid-range. Throw the carb away and fit an ASP/Magum/OS carb. You'll get much better results.
ahh yes i remember … ahh yes i remember i used to have a 45 about 15 years ago, it like great, i had tuned pipe on it on my super sport.. they are3 great engine for the price…. allthough i am haveing tuning issues with my 90…..
