I took mine out on a windy day 25mph+, needless to say it wasn't a good idea. It took off into the wind like a muthafletcher, climbed to about 150 feet made my first turn easily, on the return a gust of wind hit it and turned it sideways after that it went down like a rock. It hit with such force that the fuselage snapped in half, almost every part was damaged. The only parts undamaged were the engine pod, one wing, and the battery & pushrods. The fuselage broke right under the canopy.

Yes, i did a lot of research on this plane..unfortunatly i over looked the fact i have to by the high performance extra wing set to have working ailerons… i think i am not the only one that asumed this…the add is pretty misleading..they say its a 4 channel and the picture shows the ailerons real good(but they are painted on)…

I totally agree with you.I myself had to take the dual power pod and the jet wings off just to get it to fly.The power pod is too heavy and the wings don't have enough surface area to provide the right amount of lift for this size of plane.But yes buddy I will rate your vid high to help you out.Take care and I look forward to hearing from you again.

Hi tatman, yes i am aware of this ,but i also am aware that its much harder to fly…and (dual pods are very heavy)i am just learning…and i already have flown a 3 channel…so my next plane has to be a flyable 4 channel aileron type traner… also if you could rate this video high it would be appreciated.. when video's get high ratings youtube gives them more exposure this way i have a better chance selling the plane parts..thanks very much for your comments…greg

I don't know if you know this but this plane does have a wing and motor upgrade system that is available for about 30 to 40 dollars for the wings and 25 for the dual pod motor.These wings have a full aleron system and are more like f-16 wings which allow for fantastic stunts.Your local hobby shop should carry them and it's called the advanced wing system for the diablo.The motor upgrade is called the dual power pod.
