ill give you like …
ill give you like 45 bucks for that thing if you would take a travelers check…
Wrong- there is a …
Wrong- there is a pilot in it, he is just forward of the leading edge of the wing.
how the fuck can it …
how the fuck can it be a glider with jet engines on it ? :S …
I guess the max. …
I guess the max. thrust of this small turbines is not more than about 100 lb
(@~ 130k rpm)each, the weigth of an small sailplane is min. 1102 lbs by 45 ft wingspan.
pause at :35 and …
pause at :35 and you see no pilot…
Actually, I don't …
Actually, I don't believe the video poster is the original producer, so I would not rely on the description. Apparently, this glider has an RC controller hardwired/wirelessly controlling the RC turbines throttle, start and retracts while the stock glider controls are used. Watch the motion of his hands in the cockpit; he is clearly manipulating a center yoke with his right hand while his left hand is on the RC controller.

Come on people, …
Come on people, it's just a clever video montage. The outside shots are from and an actual RC jet glider - probably quite small (a few feet across) and definitely unmanned. The inside shots are borrowed from an actual full size jet glider. Just search for Jet Glider airshow on youtube. Stick the two together and you make it look like the guy's little rc toy plane is the real thing.
He is maneuvering …
He is maneuvering the aircraft, with an RC Transmitter….. read the description.
wrong wrong, it;s …
wrong wrong, it;s not rc
Giving an end…

Giving an end…
The video is tricky. After watching similar vids , this kind of aircraft is not controlled by the transmitter. There is a classical stick that determines the control using a hydraulic (mechanical) system. The transmitter only handles the thrust and maybe the spoillers.
NR 2. for the rest, …
NR 2. for the rest, like ruder movements, i don't see how it could be operated by transmiter, you would need some kind of hydraulic system, or additional motors, electric, for example, to enable it. not enough space for that in that particular aircraft. if they managed it -not stupidity, achievement.
reply for peterustinof.
NR 1. no, it ain't. …
NR 1. no, it ain't. electronics are widelly used in aviation, lets say it's primitive fly by wire. look at it from different angle - jet engines used on this glider are, most likely, produced for use in a transimter controlled models. i don't think all of the aircrafts functions are being controled by transmiter - i suppose it's only engine part, which is clever, pragmatic way. why muck around with system, that is manufactured already?
yeah yeah good …
yeah yeah good speech. You are not the only one that admires the brave men. Without them we would live in the caves. As is written by the guy that posted the vid, the pilot uses a remote control. Man this is fucking stupid. Even if this is not true and the "transmiter" is wired and the control is electronic , this is also dangerous. The control should be mechanical.
limitless is …
no offence.
limitless is imagination and bravery of those, who drag the rest behind. despite comments like yours.
wrights were stupid, would you say? u should be banned from airlines around the world, scum of the earth!
jet RC glider… no …
jet RC glider… no no no no!
The jets are r/c, …
The jets are r/c, the glider isn't. The details never said it was.
this isnt rc …
this isnt rc otherwise the pilot has to be very slim to sit in a rc its a glider not a rc glider haha get your facts right !
thats a aircraft …
thats a aircraft not a r/c because thats a real person
stupidity is endless
stupidity is endless

Looks like he's …
Looks like he's flying it with the standard glider stick control…but it controlling the RC Jet turbines with a RC controller…..verrryy nice!
Ooops, the engine …
Ooops, the engine siwvelled into the canopy … or oops my transmitter batteries ran out. Still, it's an excellent idea and looks like it works well.
