Hallo Marc, ja, das Modell gleitet auch dann prima. Ich hatte auch schon aus Jux die Turbine in ca. 250 Meter Hoehe abgestellt, waehrend der 'cool down' Zeit von ca. 1 Minute 'abgeglitten' und dann die Turbine in ca. 50 Meter Hoehe wieder angelassen. Das hat wunderbar geklappt und zeigt das gute Gleitverhalten. Der Restschub der Turbine von ca. 6 N ist beim Landen ein echtes Problem, da das Modell fast nicht sinkt. Gruss Hartmut

Hello Rob, thank's for your nice words. The real plane was planned to have two HEINKEL turbo-engines with each 1.3 tons of thrust. So this 2.6 tons of thrust would have needed a long runway for this 14 tons heavy plane (night- and bad weather fighter) with a wingspan of 18.8 meter. Cheers Hartmut

Hartmut, this is an amazing model with a gifted pilot! My congratulations. Looks like a bird of prey from many angles. A model is of coarse by nature, overpowered. If a real one had been built, I wonder if it's performance (with engines of that period) would've equaled your outstanding model. Thanks. 4 stars.

Hello, this plane flies very, very stable, even at low speed. The aerodynamic concept of this aircraft project, constructed from Dr. Richard Vogt, is excellent. He used the so called 'ISOBAREN-CONCEPT' to avoid instability on the roll axis. Hartmut

Great Flying, smooth, total control a great design. Woud love to fly one full sized. Wounder about pitch stability near stall though. Flying wings have been known to flip end over end out of control.
