Recently after burning a stock ESC and motor, I upgraded to 30A ESC and 4000kv Outrunner brushless motor Its now awesome. Check out new videos BAE Hawk upgraded. the taped ailerons and stock servos are best trust me
You're an awesome … You're an awesome pilot. I just got one of these but I have some worries: the design of the wing mount and the vertical stabiliser doesn't seem solid? How do you feel about it?
The stock servos on it seem very strained and not very powerful? I hope they don't die on me.
The ailerons are stuck on with tape and not hinged- has this given you problems?
So I take it you've upgraded it from the stock setup- I was going to try it stock and see if it needs a better battery later

If plane doesn't … If plane doesn't take off then you probably don't have enough power. upgrade the motor to KV4500 or KV4000, use a 30A or 40A ESC and use 11.1v 2200mAh 20C or 11.1v 3000mAh 20C Lipoly Batteries. Thats the standard setup to get this baby airborn and do some aerobatics. To get longer flight times, use this baby's gliding ability. Climb high and glide around on slow speeds. I have done 12 minutes this way. no worries for deadstick landings, this baby glides back well if you make a right approach.
