The superstar is $250, i think… great fun. Also, i've heard good things about the wing dragon 4, and the begin air. They're both pod & boom planes, like the skyfly, but they're 4 channel. Both under $200.

ya i have a love hate relationship with my skyfly. its so damn durable and easy to fix i love it, but i hate it because its the farthest looking from a real plane it could possibly be. i have totally mastered it and its a bore now. you know any good 4 channel rc planes that are good around $200 or cheaper?

My first flight was a lot shorter, though… I went and learned on a 3 channel skyfly after I cracked up the first time.

for my first flight …
for my first flight i had one of those 2 channel ones that can only fly in circles but for my first real flight with 4 channels i took off, it circled a lil then hit the ground at an angle and cartwheeled off down the field it was brilliant:D even though i've been rebuilding the bastard for months now
