No, this is not a beginner plane, have some flight time with a good trainer as Super Cub, then your likely ready, this is also a low wing with aileron, mine flew great till after dozen flights into a tree, was windy and flying too low, will get replacement in some future date its a winner flyer, looks are great in the air, my faovirte plane todate..

nice flying. I have had mine for a day, and already it has had about 20 flights already. just love this plane. I got comfortable with it before the end of my first flight. it is actually a little slower than I was expecting. flys lovely though and looks great against an evening sky! highly recommended though beginners beware, it's not as easy as it looks!

How bad was the damage? I did something similar to mine but not quite as fast. I need a new spinner, prop and firewall but that's pretty much it. I'm flying it without the spinner for now.
