Scratch Build F-22 Raptor
www.aroundtuitvideos.com
This is my first scratch build RC plane. It is an F-22 Raptor made from fan fold foam. The video is the first and second flight of the new plane. I did not try any hard maneuvers as I have never flown this plane before. Much thanks to my friend James for all his help in getting this bird off the ground.
Here is the link for the F-22 info on wattflyer rc forum.

Thunder Power 3 Cell 730 mAh 11.1v Battery

Fan fold foam from Lowe's hardware store. This is insulation foam that is 1/4 inch thick and that is 6.35 mm. It is alot cheaper than buying single depron sheets.
depron 6mm?

I have thought …
I have thought about landing gear, but decided against it. And yes, that was my video where I retired it. I added ailerons and the extra weight made it too unstable. I ended up crashing it twice. There were 2 servos for the ailerons on separate channels. Thanks for the comment annihil8ted.
ever thought about …
ever thought about putting on some wire thin landing gears? Also did you post a video about "retiring" this bird? The one with add aileron? Did you use a y-connection to have the flaperon effect with on channel or did you put the aileron on 2 separate channel?\
Thanks
