I got it as a gift … I got it as a gift for Christmas and this video was literally the only time I ever took it out without a problem. Most of the time it would bump something and the battery would have to be pulled out and the controller turned off then on again before it would work. Eventually it just became impossible to drive, either because the controller was broken or something on the boat broke… I didn't care enough to figure out which and gave up on it. A lot of people like them though… go figure.

Airhogs … Airhogs STORMLAUNCHER is awesome. Ihave 2 of them. A "Beater" and a nice new one for when I go out on a perfect day. Having 3 battery packs makes for a much more enjoyable time. Keep the rear wing on it, and remove the lower portion of the prop guards for better control and power.

This video of mine is with it bone stock. Out of the box, the thing worked really great! I used it for maybe a total of an hour, then my parents shipped it home to me in Atlanta after the holidays. After it went through shipping, I could never get it to work right again. I quit using it when I got my Losi Micro-T.
ULTIMATE … ULTIMATE QUESTION-Tanics pack?is that the best and the only one that would fit.does it need a specific charger ? when i push the right stick2the right on expert mode, the propellor doesnt sound as if its moving s fast as when i push left to turn on the alternating propellor.any ideas?also what motors would you recommend 4 an upgrade.BASICALLY IM SURE *ALL* SL owners WANT BETTER MOTORS,LONGER BATTERY&GOOD FLIGHT.- what r your suggestions?i love the vids. u clearly know your stuff&then some!;)
Yeah, they don't … Yeah, they don't last real long… 5 or 10 minutes tops. I think that's why you need to buy a couple extra batteries if you can. Also, mine seems to die pretty suddenly if you accidentally hit something with it.
hell yeah man… … hell yeah man… batteries are probobably the one thing I will try to get more of as the charge only seems to last 10 or 15 minutes on them if that. It's definitley the most disappointing thing about them.
I do have the prop guards off because it seems like they fly a bit better. Honestly thought, I haven't gotten enough experience flying it to get a feel for which is better yet. we're still flying it on the novice setting.
