Super Cub Crash Over Trailside Park
I've been gaining some confidence with my flying, and decided to make some "tweaks" to my SuperCub. This was not a wise decision as you will soon see.
Video taken by a Sony DSC-P100 camera attached to a HobbyZone Super Cub RC plane. Recorded over Trailside Park in Laveen, Arizona late afternoon on September 24, 2007.

I highly recommend Great Planes G4. I never flew an intermediate ability plane before and flew my Park Zone T-28 Trojan almost like a pro right out of the box.

I chalk up this …
I chalk up this crash mainly to inexperience. The battery power was getting too low to make low-altitude maneuvers, which is why I crashed when I tried to turn hard. I have learned from my mistake and have not had any disastrous crashes such as this since. This crash required me to replace the wing, fuselage, propeller, gearbox, and firewall. In later crashes, the worst things I've had to replace have been the propeller or landing gears.

unlucky… were you flying looking through the camera on a TV screen, the plane would have turned into a dot in that distance you went.

try being a little let hard on the controls. It gets very sensative when you move the pushrods. Once you get used to it it flys great.

I would not blame that on the plane you should have made another round and came in right are get more altitude before turning preety nice flying and funny ending
