The cord on my rc plane Receiver broke and now its way to short, can I solder on a new cord?
The cord on my rc plane Receiver broke and now its way to short and wont go very long range before loosing signal, can I solder on a new cord or do I have to buy a new one?
Oh yeah and If I do solder on new wire, would it make better range if I put a longer wire on it? and what If I put on a thicker one?
Good question… I recall someone had the same problem once at the hobby shop… Forgot the answer to it. I believe you have to solder an equal size wire to it. The receiver emits a radio wave through the wire like a battery does with a wire that has an electrical current. It doesn't matter how long. Could be longer. I would suggest soldering back the same one onto it if you could.
