I think it was around $75-$100. Yes it does fly straight up. The newer Typhoon 2 comes with a Lipo battery and has even more power for 3D flight. Thanks for the comment ps2freak136.

Great to have the plane together i bet. I have not flown my TY2 in a bit since getting G3.5 and with the weather changing it has not been very stable. A friend at work has a wireless camera. I need to try it. Love the music. Well done.
