Alien Jump Jet the coolest new aircraft
This is the new alien jump jet from

It is a 4 channel micro electric indoor VTOL
It has 3 micro gyros that keep it as steady as a rock in the air, ground effect isn't a problem so you can hover inches off the ground. It's auto stabilization is amazing push on it and it pushes back to stabilize itself, it's very cool. When you order it you can select to have either a mode 1 or mode 2 transmitter. Mode 1 has throttle on the right stick, mode 2 has throttle on the left stick.
It comes with the aircraft, replacment blades, a transmitter and a wall socket charger with an adapter for most major countries.
At the moment it is only available through snelflight.
They helped develop the aircraft and their customer support is amazing they are the best place to get one. They ship very quickly, usually in less then a week. But delivery times will vary depending on the postal service in your country.
It is controlled via IR, but an RF upgrade will be coming out later this year,
The IR signal is very powerful and it works well in the home, but if you want to fly it out doors or in large open areas you will want to upgrade it to RF.

This aircraft is a blast to fly and it looks really cool, I think it represents a new wave in electric consumer rc aircraft.

If you're mainly going to fly it outside then it would be best to wait for the rf upgrade, the sun blocks out the ir signal pretty consistently even in the shade .
It may be a while before their is one with the rf receiver already installed, but the rf upgrade will be out soon and it is an easy upgrade to install. it's only 3 connections.
The ir version is perfect for indoors, but it wont do you any good outside unless you upgrade it.

RC jets speeds are …
RC jets speeds are limited to some wear around 200 MPH by the FAA and AMA, but they can go much faster, I've heard rumors of speeds over 300 MPH, but I don't have a real turbine jet powered rc plane to test it myself.
The jump jet will go maybe 10 or 15 MPH, but I haven't clocked it.

Without the foam body it can make it across a big room in about 1 second, it's faster then any coaxial helicopter.

I will do that on my next video, I want to do some outdoor flying and warehouse flying with it but I have to weight for the RF upgrade, I talked to Phil at snelflight yesterday and he said their isn't a release date for it yet, but it has been developed and it works great. It should be out in the next few months.

Their's no servo movement, it's all about changing fan speed, the blades are tilted because all 4 spin in the same direction, it's how they counteract the torque.

No one is selling theirs off on ebay yet, and that's a good sign, it means the people who have them are happy with them. snelflight is the only place selling them at the moment, ark innovations sells them but they are sold out and have been for a while, they are also taking orders for and are sold out of the alien ufo which isn't even on the market yet.
My Alien JJ arrvd …
My Alien JJ arrvd about a week ago and I can't get enough of flying it. I've been flying electric helicopters since I bought my 1st 2-ch about a month ago. I went to 3-ch's then the ESky Lama V3, now this. Your hat-cam control-box in the picture video of flying the Pico Z was a great help to me… Got me thinking about the relationship of the controls to each other. Please, make ur next Alien JJ video, a hands-in-the-picture production so us newbies can get the "feel" of how ur doing it.
