Keith built this from a go-no-where COX or Estes plane. One of those ones that just fly by the motors ya know. He put control surfaces on it and it all worked out so nice.
This is what we go through every time we try and fly something. Just amazing that the 2 of us can get anything to fly, huh?

lol i didnt expect …
anyways wasnt this the original airforce one with 2 channels? i hate it with no flaperons ailerons and whatever erm i have a fun idea for a plane build an EDF plane and but the engines horizontally at the wings and attach servo's to them so the thrust angle will change when the servo moves the Ducted Fan!
lol i didnt expect the engines so strong
We flew it again …
We flew it again but the camera went dead - the flaps DO work good and gave it some float on landings… Keith left this plane in his car all day and it kinda melted, its bent. He put it back in his car the other way so it would "melt back" Yeah, we'll see.

Yes, I believe so. …
Yes, I believe so. You could only control the power of the motors to fly it… like that ever works!

Hilarious Dave! Was …
Hilarious Dave! Was there a Helium leak somewhere near your field? LOL! Nice flying.
I have the new DX6i …
I have the new DX6i and the battery life is great! Four rechargeable "AA"s last a long time and its easier to program then the DX6 but I'm sure it could be better on that side, finally the "Blinding" thing is not fun for someone how switches there gear out every time they switch planes.
Oh yes, I like the …
Oh yes, I like the DX6. Its a pain to program and the battery sucks, but the radio is good… I have the old one, I think the new one is better.
would you recommend …
would you recommend the dx6?
Some people just …
Some people just chuck their plane too hard and it stalls. I only very lightly throw the planes, because it shouldn't take masses of force to get the plane in the air, otherwise your engines are probably a bit dodgy.
Did you fly over …

Very entertaining! I want to get into that…
You should actually …
You should actually do a video "launch technique" video, 'cause, despite prancing about like a little schoolgirl, your form is actually quite good! - very smooth transition.
I've seen too many people at my local field use their shoulder as a fulcrum, and bean their plane straight into the ground. I have to admit I've learned the hard way myself.
Yes, my little "gay …
Yes, my little "gay dance" as Keith calls it.
Oooh, very nice :O

I like the 'Dave Powers signiture', run up to launch!
Nice job on this mod guys!!! It would be nice to see how fast it can go on a larger field. You must post another vid of this one flying.
