I'm not good enough to do hover landings yet 
My Extra 300 is 1Kg with a TP2100mAh Lipo. Haven't flown it for a while now though

amazing .you can fly extreme fast and extreme slow ,rock silent at low speed,harriers ,inverted harriers . . . nice knife edges,:) great plane.

Thanks for watching. The "Extreme Flight RC" Extra 300-E Complete Combo deal from AtlantaHobby dot com includes a Thunder Power 2100 mAh/24C LiPo, Torque 2818/900 brushless motor (250W/388W peak), APC 12×5E prop for performance + 4 Hitec HS-65 servos. The manufacturer's site is ExtremeFlightRC dot com. It is very well built and extremely light for its size (1Kg RTF). It's a good idea to add an extra LiPo so you don't have to wait an hour between flights. Don't forget the LiPo charger/balancer!
