Using a 72 MHZ …
Using a 72 MHZ aircraft radio. 11.1 Li poly battery pack @ 2500 milliamps. With 12 volts seems to work ok at distances. Do not use a 2.4 GHZ with 2.4 video system in the same aircraft. May interfere with one another. Instead use the 900 MHZ video system if you fly with 2.4.

You missed the point! Did you have FAA waivered airspace to fly an r.c. plane at 6,000 feet? How do you know that no planes were in those clouds. Keep it up and the FAA will regulate hobbiest too. Do not quit.. Just be more careful. Look at high powered rocketry for ideas on airspace safety.

No actually the video is edited somewhat. I have the original long version on DVD. Also that plane does good at climb out. Its climbout is better then a cessna 150 and 172. We tried that at a dry lake with full scale. I think the ceiling is higher then a 150.

Please do not fly so high. You are endangering full size aircraft. This kind of thing is what brings down the wrath of the FAA and makes the rest of the modelers suffer.

Lee Tahnk you for your comment. AI take off and land with goggles on. Your combination with 900 mhz video equip is what you need with 2.4 radio. No conflicts.

Great video, do you take off with the goggles on and fly, or put on the goggles after airborn. I have a Magister and 900 mhz 500mw xmtr w/Sony cam and goggles with all receiver and ant mounted on tri-pod hooked to 12 volt power. Haven't flown it yet . ANy help will be appreciated. (using 2.4 Futaba FASST radio.

This video. Flying to the clouds, is using boostervision dot com transmitter 1000 milliwatt and CCD camera. If you order from Art K8XG there, The package also includes the receiver. You will need an 11.1 Li poly 800 milliamp 8C battery. Best to go to common sense rc dot com for that. Get Radome antenna from boostervision for your receiver. This is a high gain antenna. So you can achieve long range. Thanks
