Jet powered RC plane - takeoff and crash

This beautiful jet powered model takes off and does some excellent flying but then all of a sudden the engine cuts out. Well no engine, we know what happens. Crash!

Man, that was a …
Man, that was a nice plane. That's why I started my channel on building RC planes from DIY moulds.

anthony100000000 @ 12:00 am

yer but these jet …
yer but these jet are so heavy that as soon as the motor cuts out they go down there not gliders he put in full elevator but just stalled it but he done every thing he could but i would not turn the jet it into trees but anyway..

Asad987654321 @ 12:00 am

he should of …
he should of leveled out the plane, and made it land striat, i think i could of dne it…

It was a cf-188 or …
It was a cf-188 or in american canadian air force f-18 in tiger meet colors

its not that …
its not that entertanning unless the rc plane blows up.

koko56 @ 12:00 am

Damn.
Damn.

stevewbo @ 12:00 am

RC pilots are not …
RC pilots are not flying at extremely high altitudes so when a problem occurs, they have seconds to make a decision. Sometimes they work out, and sometimes they don't. He did a great job I think.

oh no. it was a …
oh no. it was a beautiful plane.

RCBOONE72 @ 12:00 am

well, yes your …
well, yes your right, speed brakes were not good, but a boomberang so lightly wing loaded compared to a scale bird, its a trainer, Ive flown one 2, love it so much. An F-16 lands about 10-15mph faster then boomerang and the f-18 is about 5-15mph then that, up to 40mph landings full of fuel. If I had this jet I would not want to rish a slow landing it drop a tip and roll. You have got to think of wing loading, that spped brake left off could ahve let him get turned away from trees at least though

crazydale @ 12:00 am

Hi, i actually …
Hi, i actually think he made a bad decision there, with the speed he was going he could definatly made another circuit and landed, now you're going to say well how would you know, i know because i've flew a boomerang turbine jet and unfortunatly flamed out on takeoff and i managed to do a circuit and land again, all in one bit. So i think him deploying his speed brakes was the first mistake he made, trying to land there was also bad judgment. Rate me bad or whatever, i'm aloud my own opinion

narnyslip @ 12:00 am

I cried for days! …
I cried for days!What a waste nooooooooooooooo

RCBOONE72 @ 12:00 am

I don't think that …
I don't think that some of you guys understand a RCturbine, when its 3grand to 15grand it makes you nervouse when thay flame out, and on top of that these thing are like really expensive rocks when theres no power no matter the speed.I think an F-18would be in worst side of this because it uses such a flare on landing from what I see.And it would be a bad idea in my opinion just to push the nose down and quickly bring it back, that could cause a very fast tip stall with the wing design this has.

benofkent @ 12:00 am

I like the fact all …
I like the fact all the people on here could do better! Yeah Right! He did ok!

dirtjumper23 @ 12:00 am

i was hoping for …
i was hoping for some explosion

growingupisoptional @ 12:00 am

I don't think the …
I don't think the owner was flying. The guy flying is supposed to be pretty good and I can't really have a go at him as it was so quick between engine shut down and landing. However if it had been me it was easy to hear the engine shut down as it was over the runway and the aircraft had heaps of airspeed at that time so I would have continued around flared and landed on the runway.
It all depends on the decisions made in split seconds. This was an expensive one

saywhatnowdude @ 12:00 am

That's why …
That's why parachutes were invented

m3taLB1Rd @ 12:00 am

do it again! do it …
do it again! do it again!

awesome vid tho…..that birdy was hott.

tisoy909 @ 12:00 am

man was that your …
man was that your first deadstick landing

calam07 @ 12:00 am

You could have …
You could have pushed the aileron down to gain speed for landing then quickly turned around and pulled up. It would have been like a normal landing. I suppose when you are in a situation like that you forget about these things in a way…

firedog3213 @ 12:00 am

that things HUGE
that things HUGE

ruckin123 @ 12:00 am

if only that tree …
if only that tree wasnt there!
the best emergency landing ive ever seen!
hope it wasnt damaged too much and ur an exellent pilot so dont give up hobby!
