It's mostly built …
It's mostly built out of a very thin, lightweight, flexible plastic. It feels pretty flimsy, but it's surprising durable (within limits).
hello can you tell …
hello can you tell me what the cub is made out? of does it break easily?
another great plane …
another great plane to get is a hobbyzone super cub!47" wing powerful 480 motor also has anti-crash tech. comes rtf. cost the same $159.
or asroturf? i …
or asroturf? i think its a 380 watever that means
You can try, but …
You can try, but the motor might not have enough power to get enough speed. If you try to takeoff from the ground, make sure it's a smooth surface like pavement.
thnks, if it says …
thnks, if it says that it can be launche from the ground, can i on my sim its much easier
Launching: If you …
Launching: If you don't have a brushless motor, I recommend launching it by hand. Throw it into the wind, and give it a good throw at roughly 20 degree angle. Motor should be at full throttle and keep the elevator trim all the way down (to make the plane go up).
Staying up: Only steer with quick taps to the stick and let it return to center. Avoid wide, prolonged swings on the stick. Fly big square patterns until you get high altitude. If the nose tries pulls too high, correct it B4 it stalls

Are you having trouble launching it, landing it, or keeping it in the air?

I paid $159 (USD). It came ready-to-fly with the receiver.
Thanks. How much …
Thanks. How much did you pay for it? Did you have to buy the radio and receiver separately?
This is a fairly …
This is a fairly easy plane to learn with. I'd recommend it for any beginner. There are 2 versions of it. One has a brushless motor and one does not. You should get the one with the brushless motor. It has more power which makes easier for takeoffs. It will be more fun in the longrun too.
Hey just a few …
Hey just a few questions. Is this plane easy to fly? I'm interested in getting a piper cub, but all the cheaper ones just seem well, cheaper. Would this be an easy starter plane to learn on? I have some experience, but not a lot. I also tend to pick things up really easily.
The plane in this …
The plane in this video has had its front-end repaired at least a dozen times due to all the crashes and failed take-offs. During the last flight, the propeller (and shaft) propelled itself out ahead of the plane, and it hasn't flown ever since then.
That is very cool. …
That is very cool. I just flew mine and it was tail heavy so it brok the tail end of the body. I put some super glue and tape on it. I don't know how you do it but I suck, lol.
thanks first flight …
thanks first flight today i will make a clip later
It's the other way …
It's the other way around. The polymer batteries are superior to the NMH batteries. I can't quantify how much better without knowing the exact specs you have for your battery, but in general, the weight-to-mAh (milli-Amp-hours) ratio in the polymer batteries is much better.
i got the polymer …
i got the polymer in mine havent even got a chance to fly it i saw you had nmh battery how much better are to polymer if any?
the cub from …
the cub from hobbico is waaaayyy better than this one. (parkzone)
cool vid man

I had so much …
I had so much trouble with the Piper Cub's battery harness. It always broke off that flimsy frame inside… I love my Stryker though. Never had ANY problems. Cool video bro.
i know. with the …
i know. with the price of gas it'd be cheaper in the long run to buy one of the super expensive ones. i got this plane 4 years ago and crashed almost every time i flew it.
agreed.
